Knowledge B, also known as Abdul-Hakim Works and widely recognized as CEO Hood Square, is a justice-impacted journalist, published author, blogger, entrepreneur, mentor, and aspiring motivational speaker. He is the visionary founder and CEO of Hood Square, as well as the creator of the influential blog A Real Hood Square’s Perspective.

Incarcerated in the Arizona Department of Corrections Rehabilitation and Reentry since the age of sixteen, Knowledge B has never allowed confinement to limit his purpose. Guided by faith and fueled by an unbreakable commitment to growth, he has transformed adversity into achievement—proving that resilience and self-belief can break any barrier.

His academic accomplishments include earning a GED, multiple certificates from Central Arizona College, an Associate in Applied Science in General Business (with Highest Distinction) from Rio Salado College, a Certificate in Leadership and Management from Southern Utah University, and a Competent Communicator certification from Toastmasters International. He is currently pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in Communication Studies at Ashland University.

As an acclaimed author, Knowledge B has written the Hood Square Series—Tha Khronicles, Tha System, and Tha Lady Fierce Saga—and the critically powerful memoir, CEO Hood Square: My Prison Memoir. He is also the creator and coauthor of the groundbreaking anthology A Real Hood Square’s Perspective: Stories From Da Pen, which features firsthand accounts from incarcerated individuals across the U.S., spotlighting the strength, complexity, and humanity of life behind bars.

Through raw storytelling, thought leadership, and a bold commitment to change, Knowledge B continues to amplify the voices of the unheard and inspire others to rise beyond their circumstances.
